Identity Caucuses

OWHE aims to creat an inclusive experience for all members and conference attendees. To make this a reality, we are providing a space for woman of color and LGBTQ+ identified attendees to connect in solidarity. This opportunity will happen during breakfast from 8-9 am on Friday. You can express your interest in attending a caucus at the registration and check-in table in the Fireside Gallery.

Unconference Session

The last breakout session on Friday will be an unconference session. An unconference session has no pre-determined topics; rather, the topic emerges organically from the conference attendees. Unconferences are about empowering attendees to share thier expertise and grant the opportunity to have an unfiltered exchange of innovative ideas (Bagley, 2014). Do you have a question or issue you'd like to discuss with other attendees? Would you like to share a passion or expertise you have with colleagues? OWHE's unconference session will provide a space for attendees to have authentic conversations about topics that are important to them.

Lunchtime Networking

During lunch on Friday, you will be seated with a wise woman panelist, the keynote speaker, or an OWHE board member. This will be your opportunity to connect with these folks in an informal way. We encourage you to meet others from across the state during this time and create meaningful connections over a shared meal.
